Terms & Conditions

Last updated August 11, 2026

These are template terms provided as a starting point and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Please have them reviewed and finalised by a qualified legal professional before relying on them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AthlOS (the “Service”). By creating an account, checking the agreement box at sign-up, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AthlOS. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

You agree to provide accurate information, including any injury history or career history you choose to add, and not to impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any team or organisation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that infringes the rights of others. You agree not to upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.

Uploaded media may be automatically screened for policy violations. Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or removed at our discretion.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant AthlOS a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. Athlete profiles, posts, and profile information are visible to other signed-in users by design.

6. AI Coach & Informational Content

The AI Coach and any training, technique, or injury-related guidance provided by the Service are for informational purposes only and are not medical, physiotherapy, or professional coaching advice. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on such guidance, particularly where injuries are involved. You use this feature at your own risk.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features are offered on a paid subscription basis. Payments are processed by Stripe; AthlOS does not store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or its users.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AthlOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date below, and where appropriate we will notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
